Actually, I was conseled to do the same by leaders at the top - to take my kids away from my backslidden system wife. The reasoning was that they belonged to the Lord, and she had dedeicated their lives to him when they were born and therefore had no moral rights over them if she was a systemite. Didn't you ever run across anything like that?
