About the Family's leadership, they always use this kind of thing as a control tool with their current members ..."see what the Devil does to you when you leave the Family and stop doing God's work, blah blah blah." Or like they said about Ricky, he listened to the exmember apostate community and was led astray by them. There's nothing more disdainful than that.
