Interesting post. The following paragraph above that I think has a lot in it to unpack:

"People who have been the most outspoken about what happened to them as children are at particularly high risk of a descent into Family-induced madness, imo. Maybe this is because some of those who have spoken out the most forcefully are also among the most damaged."

Setting aside that basically what Peter, Karen and the pervs want people to think is precisely that "People who have been the most outspoken about what happened to them as children are at particularly high risk of a descent into Family-induced madness" (since if we just swallow it/wrap it in a bundle of faith, we will be OK, they say), I wonder how much this opinion is weighted by the fact that you don't see the downward spiral of those who have not spoken out (until you hear of a suicide). On the other side of the equation, there are also people who are living quite stable lives who testified in the UK, for example.

Also, notice that some of the male actors-out may have spoken forcefully while saying more about what happened to others around them as children than about the severe wounds they themselves sustained.

However, your "vote of confidence" for those who have spoken out may also have to do with the ugly response directed at us from the cult. The crazy-making machinery stays mothballed if you are sending your CRO parents money and giving them access to your deceased Vandari sibling's computer, no matter whether you are dealing drugs and stealing. I have seen it.
