The problem with the Family is that it operated just the way SOCIETY and the WORLD in general does. Only you and me lived in dreams and idealistic hopes about heaven.
The rich get richer, the poor poorer. The powerful get power, the dreamers and believers get only dreams and belief.
The materialists got the materials.
The currency of the Family was the game of sycophancy(the secret society of suck ups). It all operated just like the world while pretending not to.
