Thanks for sharing the quote...it's true what has been said here, the boards happen to be quieter these days & it used to be a nice "gadget" to have hyperlinks...it's a few more steps, but actually really worth it in your case & I think the board should be secured as well...

I could understand how utterly you're puzzled with quotes as these, that none of us protested loud...
One thing I can tell you though about my mindset in those days: the folks "seemed" perfect and supposedly knew what they were doing...they were not "normal" in a "positive" way...there love seemed better and so I simply "overread" those passages with pink glasses of "positiveness"...thinking, that apparently things are done "in love"...as long as I didn't see it right beside me....it didn't compel me to "think/act" more...neither did I have children at that stage, nor was I in a permanent relationship at that time, if I remember well...

In hindsight the quote is totally outrageous...
I just read the confessions of race-bikers who took doping-agents over many years...they were slowly intorduced & later there was hardly a way out...they were hooked to be successful, cause only success was selling & gained the support of sponsors & since everybody did it...it became normal.
The parallel in my case is not, that I took part in sexual abuse of anyone...but unfortunately I got used reading that stuff, even if I just thought: it's at the folks home etc...Very sad!
