I'm more than happy to answer any questions, but you'd have to be more specific, right now it's just general statements. Some of the questions you ask down below have been talked about in the book extensively, so if there is any further clarification, you'd have to be specfic about it for me to respond.
For reasons why we wrote the book, our author bios on our website explain that further www.notwithoutmysister.co.uk

About prosecutions see pg 367 to 361 and www.riseinternationalcic.org

About dad's guilt see page 67, 361 -363, and the chapter 'Chained Eagle'.

I guess more importantly, this book is our memoir and it's not or ever will be a comparison game as to whether we had it worse or not compared to other second generation or even some first generation. As far as my own personal feelings about my experiences I say (pg 31) 'Because I was younger, I was not included in many of the sexual acts that my friends were roped in for. I always counted myself lucky compared with them.' This is pretty much how I would sum up how I view my own experiences compared to some I know and who I hope will one day tell their own story. Even if they don't, the point of the book is to bring to light the culpibility of the leaders who instigated and were behind it all and challenge the Family's rewriting of history.
It isn't easy to have the details of your life out there in the public domain, but the responses from the public that we have received so far have, at least to me personally, made it worth it. We'll be posting some of them on our website, but here's an excerpt of one: - ..."Apart from what you have endured, it will undoubtedly strike a cord with many young women, many of which have not been associated with Cults, but have been abused and brutalised in non cult circumstances. And maybe, just maybe enable them to follow your lead to rise above so much anguish and painful experiences to go on to great achievement and a better life."

Before ending though, I want to express that I totally believe in everyone's right to ask questions and have differing opinions--that's what makes us all individuals. I'll try not to take personally what you said about us having a 'personal vendetta, desire for revenge, and bitterness'. To me it's quite simple, and I think the book makes it clear - those that committed crimes should be held accountable, those who have not, have no need to worry. When I say 'held accountable' - they are accountable to their victim primarily. I have personally had some people who have apologised unreservedly to me for things they did, and I have forgiven completely -why? Because they demontrated true remorse, not only in word but action. Those who are not sorry, are likely to do the same actions again, and in those cases, 'Failure to report a crime, is a crime.'
