I don't know if they were fringe members or in Canada, and my memory of who Diamond's parents were is actually a little fuzzy. This was over 20 years ago. It's possible she had an American mother called Pearl. In any case, Diamond was a willing participant, and her parent(s) were well aware of their daughter's activities. They were active in the Asia area, Hong Kong, maybe Japan and Indonesia too.
