Don't ask me why, but I really appreciate your dark humor now. (And if it wasn't humor I'm sure you'll be letting me know soon enough :-p) It's probably borne of the hardship in your life. For me, humor is a better way to choose to look at things, the only way to stay sane and survive the maddening pain.

Your post cleared it up for me. It's also hard for us to read the minds of posters, when they express something in a simple statement which standing alone, doesn't say much about what else they're really thinking. Had I understood more, I might not have reacted the way I did. We've been dealing with never-ending false allegations and rumors started years ago, and your comments seemed to go right along with them. I felt compelled to state for the record where we're coming from, and confront the what I perceived was additional rumor mongering.

I apologize for making you feel yelled at. I really wasn't doing that at all. Expressing my own frustration at what I perceived to be an insinuation/accusation, perhaps.

I understand you have reasons for mistrust. I do wish you wouldn't keep associating me with whatever you went through in The Family though. We've never met, I don't have any skeletons in my closet other than being stupid enough to get sucked into a cult (you only have my word to go on, I know), and I'm just trying to be of service to a wide range of people and issues. I left so long ago I really can't relate much to any of that Family-speak anymore -- few of the buzzwords/triggers trigger me at all -- and sometimes I wonder why I'm here immersing myself in another "mission" day in day out.
