There's an interesting debate taking place in the UK right now involving racists and holocaust deniers being given a chance to speak in a forum at Oxford.

I think that has some parallels here. The racist made the claim that free speech is an absolute right and therefore he should be given the right to speak no matter how abhorrent his views are. You, David McKay, seem to be suggesting that you have an absolute right to post here as an exmember, and you defend your position by insulting posters here with insinuations that we are somehow also a cult because we don't care for your presence here. That insinuation shows your true colors and has been made here before by those, most notably current Family members, who don't like what posters on this site have to say.

First, freedom of speech is not an absolute right. An obvious example is that you cannot yell "fire" in a crowded theater if there is in fact no fire. Purposely giving a false fire alarm can land you in legal trouble. Another example: many countries
have hate crime legislation that makes it illegal to promote hate through speech or otherwise.

Second, all websites that have sections devoted to user content have rules and guidelines that often limit the speech rights of posters. On news sites, for example, that allow users to post comments to news articles, those comments are moderated and deleted when they breach the rules. This website operates similarly.

Third, your very presence here, independent of what you have to say, has bothered some of us. Still, you weren't banned and you've been allowed to post freely, so far. I'm glad of that because it seems to me your own words will condemn you. If you were truly interested in being part of this exmember community of individual thinkers (not a cult of group-thinkers like yours), then you would have taken a far different, more conciliatory approach than the one you have after being criticized by some here. But at the first sign of criticism you fire back with hostilities of your own, including the vile attempt to paint us as a cult, when it is you who went on to form a cult of your own.

By the way, what exactly do you consider the "bad fruit" of this website to be?
