Rowland and Susan came over as being cold and cruel towards their own and their hosts children. So much so that they asked for a note to be read out at the end from their own son saying something in defense of his parents.

The show focussed on freeganism. It did show some distributing literature but very little.
I thin the community will be cringing with embarrassment now.

The Jesus Christians had 'holier than thou' attitides towards the wealthy couple, who challenged them on not paying tax yet partaking of its benefits, such as free education and the National health Service. They responded with the claim that they contributed to society in other ways. When they were asked to clarify what exactly they contributed to society and they could not answer this, they resorted to preaching, repeating ' Gos made man, man made money, money made man mad'

Dave McKay was not mentioned. Neither were his books or other contrversial activities or the real JC routine, yet they still came across negatively. The JC family seeme so unhappy.

Not a good publicity stunt!
