'I don't particularly trust the person I plan to vote for: I only trust him slightly more than his rival.'

did you write to which statement I answer not politically talking but agreeing with you here partly:

If you know a person you have to choose for some reason over you to have responsability over you too, if you don't trust him completely or believe some crap can surround him at work from many bad influences around he would have, why trust him then and choose him and fear he might be influenced by evil or have strong weaknesses in himself present or develpping evil wayÉ Would it be better to just not choose him at all better?

We all know influential people have much power in this World and not exactly the right way, the one who doesn't believe that hides his head in the sand. So how can we participate in fair choices when first of all we don't even know the true mechanisms of who really rules us?

Is that considered political post? Let me add believers aren't of this World and did Jesus-Christ for his part payed his taxes? Wasn't he against the authority who said he was neutral and that crucify him wasn't his own idea but did nothing to prevent it?

All that to say that the World will become as it will have to and that doing a choice or another in USA for example these days won't change anything to it, that's why the only way to avoid talking politics is just not participate in it plainly! I'm more interested in individuals' behaviour and how they can be manipulated by others at any level or manipiulate others themselves here or there...

We can't do ourselves a miracle going to fish and giving to an authority the piece of gold we found in a fish mouth as Jesus did sadly, so what is the alternative? In the Old Testament in the Mosaic laws, even charging interest was forbidden as supposedly ordained by God, if we would just obey that worldwide right now or since many many years, the World as it is run by now would be bankrupt since long and man's authority inexistent. Laws existed in the OT to help but man just realized he can't even establish laws on himself as man will never submit to them adequately ever... It's just a question of time all falls dramatically and it isn't a surprise as it was already ordained!...
