You do have options if you hate it here that much

Our rules and guidelines state that interpretation of the rules is up to the coordinators, but you seem intent on telling us how to do our coordinator work. Well I can call it like I see it too.

It's too bad for you and anyone else who keeps relating our moderation work to "the way things were done in TF." But that just comes with the territory since we're catering to this crowd.

I'm going to insist that you cool it off anyway if you're going to use our boards. If you interpret that as "trying to change you," there's not much to do about it. You can always frequent those other unmoderated forums you find more consistent fair and even-handed, where nobody tries to modify your behavior. We're not going to ban anyone who hasn't flagrantly violated the rules. But if you hate it here that much there is always self-exile. And you can always run your own forum where you call the shots.

For your information: When a coordinator posts in any one given thread, it is the same coordinator. Otherwise you see "Coordinator 2" or "Another Coordinator." So no rules were broken, and no, we don't have double standards for coordinators. And since we don't have registration and passwords for handles, it is up to every frequent poster here to speak up and guard their usual handle. All we do is recommend people with similar handles use "Swede2" or "OT2" for example.

You seem to have trouble accepting anyone else's point of view except your own, even when something is explained to you repeatedly.

The youth issue:

And I should probably run circles explaining this one again too: We're human, we're busy, we don't always have time to catch it all. In fact tending to your arguments is now taking away what little time I have today so I can't even tend to the other posts.

But yes, you are right: genX is supposed to be a religion-free space. It's in the rules. So if you feel intruded upon and we're not around when you need us, feel free to bring it up to Mr. Don. I'm sure he'll readily move his posts to Journeys when prodded. Or is that a double standard, our asking you to do our job for us while asking you to let us do our own job?

I don't know. Maybe we should just shut down the frickin boards since we can't man them 24 hours a day!
