I found out that some Thai people who were in TF learned how to tell tall stories about helping chldren and collect donations for non-existent charities. Trust the Thais to copy everything for profit! Now they pace around tourist spots with laminated fake ID's and photos of smiling children, asking for donations for orphanages with no address or telephone no., and they do it with a real attitude too. I asked around and was told by reliable sources that they are all confidence tricksters and the money goes straight into their own pockets. But I got to wondering though, is it possible these Thais are actually employed by TF?? Would they really need to resort to crude street tricks like these when they have registered fake charities with web sites and legal addresses? Does anyone know?
