"The people who think they can give them the benefit of the doubt are deceived and don't even know it."

I am not sure whom you mean, but I just act on it/reply to it, as if you could partly mean me, including me??!...in any event my stance is very simple: be it a Hitler, a Pol Pot, a W.Bush (no intention to have him here demonised by mentioning him in line with the other "demons") or whoever else comes to our mind in past or present: a person is guiltless in an issue (but not in the theological sense of being sinless...which leads to the theme of universal & original sin) until proven otherwise by a "trusted"/respected court...including such an important one like in Den Hague...In many people's minds war criminals are already guilty before they are "legally" prosecuted & judged...that "prejudice" is often or "always" due to some reporting agent, mostly some journalists, who "should" know their stuff...although 100% objectivity remains IMO always a dream, sad to say, a complete birds eye view & a super microscopical one is impossible, although probably cherished by us knowledge-seeking humans (thus we have google & all kinds of info-collectors)

It's not a big news, that I never lived in "Dad's"
(yuck) household & also never touched in my lifetime US-soil ... so a lot of info/impressions are formed due to communication of all sorts and human as I am , I have to learn through tedious
efforts of reading, listening, exchanging, what is
"approximately" the "biggest truth" in an issue...that's what science is all about anyway: approximation

Of course I have my "knowledge" about Hitler & Pol Pot...Stalin,Lenin...Marx...many Popes...W.Bush...& also Berg...plus all kinds of
"prejudices"...that is info, which is unfiltered, not knowing/realising how substantiated
some info is or not...as I don't know the "time" witnesses personally.I almost immediately trust the witness out of deep suffering, be it inquisition-testimonies, concentration-camp-witnesses or that of SGAs...it's mostly the wording which either touches heart &/or mind or it doesn't...

I would like to hear your technique, on how to be
efficiently (the least timeconsuming way to reach the most "objective results" is the best..."optimation theory") "objective"????!!!

My stance is, we help each other in the information-seeking-process & each of us was in a unique situation in TF, that no one else shared, simply because we're individuums with different abilities, spans of life & origins...therefore to lump everything simplistically together in "nice prejudices" is not really my thing, that's why I find some SGAs comment a bit "offensive", because he/she has already judged before he "heard"/read the other person...there is an amount of "prejudice"/judgement given/due, our debt for having been in TF,which happens to be real, because "in the right senses", we could have realised the illusions earlier and crimes perpetuated or not having them reported or fought remain still a crime, but my personal experience is, that it's still a big difference in reality on these boards of wanting the truth & having the truth in an issue & to steer away from cheap "info hip shots"...

In conclusion I'd say to you or others: In an issue - not the gross overall-picture - relating to TF or even other ones in general, you might be prejudiced & don't even realise it!

Therefore I prefer reading what people did experience be it in TF or life, because how could I possibly object to their personal experiences unless I'd know them "better" than them...which is very highly unlikely...therefore, why don't people write more about their own experiences?

I have the feeling many just like to be some "teacher" once in a while with some audience & be it some board....on the other hand I don't mind to also read tons of quotes of someone who thinks them to be super-important...by which I also have profited immensely.

Your history seemed nice to me, but frankly I would have loved to hear your personal history first, because the other one I already know...in a similar way...thanks anyway!
