childmolestation...abuse etc.

Posted by Farmer on November 05, 2008 at 08:12:42

I think before I entered into TF & even afterwards I think I hardly had a clue what childmolestation is all about & most of all why...it didn't make "sense" to me...for me sex was about procreation & with consenting, mature, old enough people...latter was some type of a loophole in TF, as the ages varied from country to country/state...TFers somewhat being "stateless" in their mind.

The quote from a case in India below shows in my opinion the progress of worldwide awareness & mounting up measurements for protection. It's almost the very same or rather the same, what I read from western activists...so the pattern is similar worldwide, it seems.

I wonder now, how much Berg premeditated such "exploits" long before (like Fritzl in Austia did) & setting up ways to ensure the fulfillment.I guess I have to read up again about him & Faithy...one way of explaining her (past?) alcoholism is the quest to drown bad experiences of many sorts.

"Social activists and child rights workers say that most child molesters are usually either related to the child or familiar to them. An activist working on prevention of child sex abuse said, "Child molesters try and get jobs that put them in close proximity to children, such as in children's homes, summer camps and crèches. It's high time a law is formulated through which employees at such places are screened and a child protection policy is established. In the absence of this policy, molesters are given easy access to children. Such incidents leave the affected children scarred for life." quoted from the article below
