I do understand you & was probably equally annoyed at the reply to go and learn Spanish...I mean this is really one of my short termed goals (not): to learn all the languages in the world, to communicate & know everything first hand...gosh...
I think it's very nice to know Spanish...in the case of written Spanish I would try to get the jist by some studied knowledge of French and Italian, but to understand fast colloquial oral Spanish is just something for the very learned... a bit presumptious of the poster
Yeah, "shy" was with quotation marks...not really serious, for lack of knowledge of the real reasons...SGAs don't strike me in general as very shy, so that wasn't the intended real adjective, but rather the provocative contrary
I do think, that SGAs are in majority vastly predjudiced against FGAs, but also rightfully through facts & information opposed to the FGAs...
for the letter I can't blame them, cause the facts are voluminous...that I do mind somewhat the prejudices, lumping mostly all the FGAs all in one pot, is I guess just my human trait, but even that tendacy of them is understandable...
However anger is not always the best counsellor...in this particular case a bit more information would have helped "the advertisement",on top of it,
GenX is the wrong board...many FGAs are also far from believing Christians (that PTL was strong, black sarcasm)...the video appeared on Godtube & most likely has a "culty"/religious
message, ...but through the link I got to view something else, a very good video, somewhat similar to the box-skit...all in all a worthy posting of her
