Although I doubt your sincerity, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt with one more reply.

"I could never begin to imagine the pain you feel."

Well, once again, you have no idea how I feel or what I feel.

What I feel I wouldn't even call pain anymore. I'm not feeling any "pain" about my time in The Family. The "pain" I feel, if any, if it can be called that, is not for my own sake but others', especially innocents who were hurt and those who are still being harmed by them.

When I use "them," I emphasize that we were once part of "them" -- all sincere, naive and innocent to varying degrees, but manipulated to hurt each other and use people in the name of God.

The damage they did to me and my children was very real and very severe (but just so you know that there is no classic "bitter apostate" profile as according to The Family: I didn't even leave just because of what they did). All the ingredients for the same damage to be done today are there. Believe me, I would be the first to shout it from the rooftops if things were different, but nothing's changed. Leaders who wield power can still fuck you other big time, and they still do.

"Since I doubt the family is going anywhere, soon. I hope they will see a change in leadership and ideology."

The Family by ideology and definition are users, not givers. They live off other people who do the real work. They give nothing useful or real back to anyone. Even buying a Hollywood movie for pure entertainment will give you something more lasting than what they pretend to offer.

"Has no one inside the group tried create a reform movement."

You can't reform someting which is by design flawed from the foundations. You can only knock it down. But yes, there have been varying degrees of people trying, but to no avail. The leaders will always come out on top, and you will always be chaff. But they teach you from the onset that chaff is a good thing (Diamnonds of Dust).

I can't emphasize this enough:

By design The Family will not change or it will become redundant as a movment and disappear into the mainstream. It only thrives because of sycophants who support the better-than-thou complex that it embodies. The cuckoo private-corner-to-god teachings of some nut-job leader at the top with iconoclastic non-conformist unconventional views of the world, the paranoid belief in the imminence of the antiChrist world kingdom, the persecution complex, the elitism and collective messiah complex, are all ingredients necessary to keep such a movement alive and make it different. Without these ingredients, this formula of control from the top, The Family will disintegrate.
