Quite interesting...only begs for me the question, where should the (surplus) money come from ?...on the grassrootlevel, we were constantly broke...there was hardly any surplus, should that have changed?

On the higher level it was usually gold (to invest...secure value) & beyond that I wouldn't know, what leaders did (anyone in the know...properties???)

You'd have to have quite some money , for investment, to get enough out of a retirement fund, I mean a good one, not the snowball/pyramidical-systems.I think it's a bit of a better late than never-advise...I get the impression, that's pretty late (too late?) for the very old FGAs without any prep....but what can they advise, since so much of their predictions has failed...so may be they "got discouraged" & encourage to do what is only reasonable...and should have been all the while...now they have that burden off their chest & the ball is in the court of the "simple Joe's"

So if anyone is reading that in cyber-TF-world...pls. get a job, earn your living...bread and butter with your own hands...and along with that comes usually social security...Mama & Peter indirectly said so!
