Oh I could write a book about that. Take the most popular TV programs for example. I was watching an episode of Ugly Betty where Wilhemina's was deciding whether or not to run off with her lover and rip of the company she'd worked for all her life. Her dilemma was, "do I choose love or my career, but I can't have both." Nowhere in her dilemma was whether or not she could love with herself for hurting people or about doing the right thing because there is such a sthing as right and wrong.

Granted, Wilhemina was the part of a ruthless character, but as it as scripted, even everybody else, the good guys and the sincere little people, no one even moralized or thought about right and wrong, just felt bad for her that she had to choose one or the other and ended up losing her love.
