Ok, next time "we" sue you, not only for speeding with a velocity beyond German capability through our beautiful country/nation, nay and that without stopping & spending some needed funds here to help our battered economy.
On the other hand we're glad, that you're not finding out more about German incompetence/hostility/negativeness by spending time here and publicise it to our disadvantage... ; ) ... tongue in cheek
Some time ago I read some touching analysis/article of the post WW II wounded German soul...forgot by whom...that the German roamed around in his insecurity, always asking foreigner, what they thought about the country (seriously, a "bad" habit of interviewers here)...ashamed of the past...not sure if he could be liked...burying his traumata in a whole lot of work (at least some workresults to be happy/proud about) etc. etc.
at the soccer world-championship here I was a bit shocked & scandalised at the wave of German flags...it became fashion again (we're not used neither at school nor elsewhere to pray lots (ok, different for Christians), having the flags all around us (definetely not in schools) or singing lots the national anthem ...something which the post-war youth/me didn't have: a proper German identity....frankly as a Christian I couldn't care less...I live here...have the rights/duties...but am passing through...like you ; )
