I was witness to only a bit of that physical abuse, though barely anything in the way of sexual strangeness, much less sexual abuse. Still, it was enough and I got out early enough before it got any worse. And when I did, I found myself turning myslelf inside out, rethinking everything about my own parenting.
I want to thank you for sharing your painful memories. You are right, many of us here are trying to do something about TFI. I'm doing what I can.
