Bully for those who "opted to cover [...] up in exchange to maintaining contact with their families". All I can advise the rest of us is that hope is deadly. Hope kills. Give up hope. The very ones you thought would be with you will be the cruelest abandoners.
There is no justice, there is no peace. There may be for those wronged by other evils, but not this one. Seek justice at your own exhaustion.
