So, after discussing the "fate" of TFI with both current (full-time) and former members (recently leaving and having left a long time ago), most of us reached two possible scenarios for the future of TFI (as in, in the next couple of months): (1) They will disband; or (2) They will become little more than a loosely-associated and almost entirely "mainstream Church".
My question (or "bet") then follows: Any takers on either outcome? My bet is on them disbanding. My reasoning is that Zerby & Kelly most probably do not need the "support" (read: financial) any longer, as they most likely have all of the savings they need. As Z&K are heading into retirement-age, why shoulder the task of running the organization for much longer?
Of course, they are both control-freaks, so maybe it will be a little too much too soon for them to give up.
Thoughts?
