Except Peter has enough to live on in retirement. All the rebooters and exmembers don't. I don't have one single iota of sympathy for him.

However I agree with you that Peter is motivated by fear. With the videos I see him as desperate and trying to hold onto some kind of significance.

I'm convinced that there's not going back now. If you have any kind of personal contact or relationship with members who now are working in jobs, sending their kids to school, looking for the right kind of housing, learning how to get credit, file tax forms and etc etc etc, it's done: there's now no back to go back too and Peter and Maria aren't a king nor a queeen anymore.

So from what I've seen in Peter's videos, it seems to me that he's hoping to still be relevant, and I'm sure to some extent, for some, he still is. Overall even though he's shallow in his discourse, the reboot is a major change to some of the main long-held tenets of the Family practices, beliefs, and life-style that as members we were willing to live and die for.
