Dear Peace...thank you...don't take it too hard...blame yourself too much...the whole thing kind of swayed...I picked up on the gnostic theme and from there it isn't too far to modern syncretism...new age...so it's a huge subject...I doubt I can manage at all...much less in a single thread...though very interesting...for if modern or old ancient man isn't interested in the preachings of the prophets or later of the Son of God or finds it too hard for whatever reason...he looks for some loopholes.. a way out...and I am not better than others...only meanwhile I realised that bad trick we fall for so easily and now I kind of have to learn to "like"...the rather bitter medicine about my old self and other issues...

your posts in the thread sounded like being interested in the real Christianity...living it/learning it and not remaining on the "babes-level" of several churches...would you want to open a different thread about it yourself???!
I was kind of pro (seeing many mistakes of the churches...)...what you said...but also cherish what OT2 said...I then realised...that one can always find fault in some other believers words/work...so I personally wouldn't want to fall prey to a holier than thou attitude...on the other hand quite a few sins/mistakes of the churches are rather obvious...so may be you like a thread about that???
