Have just ordered Steven Hassan's book and now am reading Something Somebody Stole, where I found Hassan's book mentioned as well, plus the obedience experiment, to which I posted a link. The documentary about the Stanford prison experiment is on YouTube, I believe.
I'll try to get all the materials you mention.
I'll see what therapists I can find locally. I live in the EU in one of the ex communist countries. I've done some research, so I know they do have therapists for ex cult members, but probably nothing as advanced as in the USA. I think a local psychologist might do - found a good review on one of them. I mainly need someone I can trust. For my husband's sake, who is known here since he is a musician, I wouldn't want any "beans to be spilled".
