That sounds like just what the doctor ordered. Sadly, there are no such things that I know of in my part of the west coast. There is a woman's shelter, but they seem rather limited in their funding and take only hard core cases, like women afraid for their lives, etc. I wish I could start something here or raise awareness, or something. I wonder how these places get started in the first place.
