I think your idea is a good one. Getting grants and gov't funded places set up will take time and and cash (initially) even given the ideal situation that we had the knowledge and legal aid to start with the paperwork.
But in the meantime I like your idea of putting out as large a list as possible of existing resources, what they offer, how they can help, where they are (tel nos and addresses). That shoudl be a feature on this site? Is it already? If so, it could continually be updated and expanded.
