My husband is a well-known media representative for the Family in this country, and his past has followed him around, causing him to lose a couple of jobs and he is now out of work, putting a great strain on our family and those he is responsible to support. We have often talked of him coming forward publicly and going to the same tabloids who originally began the media coverage of the group, but the cost is too high in that our family will be labelled, our kids will be ostracized at school, bullied or worse, and it will have negative effects on his children from a first marriage, his first wife, and his mother who was also drawn into the first media coverage a decade ago. And so we have opted to remain quiet despite the personal hardship it has caused us.
