MG:

Hats off to your daughter- she sounds like a real fighter and go getter!

And thanks for the info on the "college" term. I do not know why The Family chose to use that term in the CVC course name, it is misleading, but just to be fair, I don't know of anyone in (the rank and file) TF who ever considered it to be university equivalent or tried to pass it off as such. To be honest, when it came out when I was in TF, I was mainly just super disappointed, as of course there had been all kinds of fanfare beforehand about this wonderful new curriculum coming out, then it turned out to be just 80% Mo Letter reading lists.

My Family-educated kids who are now out (five of them, now ages 9 through 21) all struggled with math too. But I do have to say- Uncle Dan's videos do teach math very well (I lived and worked with Dan for a time, and my memories of him are that he is a genuinely excellent teacher, had been a teacher in the System, and I liked him tremendously). However, having seen what my kids are learning in school now- the Uncle Dan videos, once again, only reach about a 6th-7th grade level. And math is one of those subjects that has to be practiced daily to really grasp, which was almost never possible in The Family.

Anyhow, as I said, congratulations to your daughter for her accomplishments (and to you)!
