I left the Family in early 1999. At the time the sex rules were the same as those quoted by Alan from the Charter. I still have my copy of the Charter in a box in the garage somewhere, but I recall those rules very well, because I attended a pre-Charter meeting with leadership in which the Charter was gone over, page by page, and we critiqued it and discussed it and suggested changes and revisions. (I was invited to attend to "represent the single mothers.)
I remember thinking and saying at the time that the rules were convoluted and confusing.
