I would caution you to go slow Perry, as concerns disclosing any personal identifying information on a public web site. You have absolutely NO expectation of privacy here, or anywhere on the internet. It's the nature of the beast. All sorts of whackos can take your personal information and spread it abroad.
Very few people here identify themselves -- for that very reason.
You do not owe it to anyone to self-disclose with personal, identifying information.
If you want to offer a public email contact, I suggest you get a hotmail or yahoo web-based one.
Just go slow and be very careful about what you post here -- as concerns personal info.
