I was recently reminded of Berg's Come-union letter. About how the best time to have group sex is when you have Communion together. There were homes with leadership in the same area as us in those days and they got right into it in obedience to the prophet. So glad we rarely had to visit them or stay in their home. At that time we lived pretty much on our own. We were often like the people Berg said who "followed afar off". Of course maybe if we would have gotten more of a taste of what it was like to be in the middle of Berg's perverseness, maybe we would have left then and there? Then again it might have just made our marriage another Fam casualty. Every couple who "followed" closely, every leadership couple, split up. I can't think of a single leadership couple who over the long run stayed together.
