I didn't leave. This was me too: "And if we weren't doing the abusing, we knew people who were. Or we were reading about it in the publications. Or we were sending in our tithes to support the chief abusers who could publish more literature condoning and covering up abuse."
I could never ever for the life of me compare my experience to the SG experience.
It hurts to accept it all, but for me the process of doing so clears a lot of things up inside my head.
