Thank you for posting. Yes, parents each of us are guilty of this--if you look at this from a sane point of view we can see that this would fit into the category of child abuse. This is one sort of abuse that our children are yelling and screaming about that they need our apology for. They want to hear it from us without making any excuses whatsoever. Because, there is really absolutely no excuse for us to hide behind that can possibly justify what we did. We were there as their parents and spiritual guardians to protect them from this abuse--and that's what it really turned out to be. Oh, sure, yeah going out for a few hours a week to witness is one thing, but taking our children out for the purpose as stated above in the quoted MO Letter is an entirely different thing--a different motivation: one to win souls; the other for gain. And we made "merchandise" off our own dear children. Oh, parents can't you see it? We "merchandised" our own precious children. Admit this to them with an open and pure heart. They will gladly take you back and freely love you once again.

Please pray that God will open our eyes to our sins of the past and that we can have the courage to stand up and be counted on the side of truth.
