True. But from all accounts I have heard, what Jim has said to various people could only be taken as a threat and intentional coersion. The way he spoke to and treated some of my personal friends who have suffered abuse in the Family and have battled with those issues after they left is unacceptable by any standard.

If it was indeed a misunderstanding, there would have been plenty of people to say so. Believe me when I say that I had no idea how deep this went until I began asking questions and hearing people's first-hand accounts.

If anything, Jules has put it mildly.

That he his advocating justice is really no excuse for his conduct. If it was, then the Family could get off the hook when they claim that all the CTP ministries and souls saved out weigh and exculpate any bad in the group.

Still, I haven't met Jim and am not in a position to judge his charachter. If he can find it within himself to apologize to those he hurt and make amends, it is certainly a point in his favor.
