I think you should write exactly what you feel, what you think! Deleting it and putting a generic statement that is unclear in meaning is almost pointless.
Try this. Write what you think, ALL of it. Don't send it, leave it open, go have a quiet cup of coffee.
When you come back, take another look at what you wrote, and GUARANTEED there will be changes you can make to your writing to make it clear and helpful.
