I too have benefited greatly from professionals working with PTSD and who have used these comparisons. It has been very helpful for me too. Glad you have found those resources for yourself. For people without funds for this, it takes work but resources can be found. There are diferent suggestions in the Resources section here at this site. Internet websearch for a women's center in your area (even if a person is male) will often provide access to the initial steps for connecting to help.
