That's right - you go south for the winter and we're still waiting for a trip to McDonald's with you. Except now, I think we can take YOU out to dinner to a nice restaurant. No more McDonald's.

Speaking of birds - I went for a walk today and saw a Blue Heron. I just love those huge birds, they are so cool to watch flying low over the river, swooping down for some tasty fish. I also saw a Golden Eagle catching something in its talons.

I love working in the garden too. I was just thinking today about how wonderful it is to be settled down someplace after having moved for the last 25 years, always uprooting. I can finally have a garden and watch something grow. Sounds like Fran is having a great time, good for her. Gardens are soothing and I think people living in cities without gardens are sure missing out. I feel sorry for them.

I would love to see your artwork. Are you doing a show? You're so talented. All the best.
