Yes, that sort of stuff really bothers me. It shows the nature of the leaders at the top when a person should have faith where medical costs are more, and when pregnant women are neglected, or women in general. Even the brothels in Reno and Nevada in general keep their women medically checked.
Berg wrote that letter one time and I remember how horrible it felt. It was about taking time off from FFing if contracting a STD and Berg was so into the MONEY it was producing that he wrote something about how it was more impt to save the soul than the body! What was that letter? It was like, go ahead spread the diseases and don't get well because the message is more impt. than whether you stay sick or they get sick.
At that time just about everyone had one STD or another and treatment was not pushed.
I got treated at one time for trichomonas but had to pay for it all on my own and go without anyone knowing it.
One woman I knew in Switzerland got so sick with gonnorhea and who knows what else she had to be hospitalized. It would have killed her, the untreated stuff she was getting!
At least when some joined ESing svcs at family behest, there was more control of taking care of the woman's health.
And the cervical cancer thing.. I have noticed so many women who have died in the family from it. This was not necessary. As far as I am concerned the restrictive and delayed treatment, the way the family goes about it in far too many places is just plain wrong, in fact criminal imo.
Maria and Berg went to hospitals when others were encouraged to have "faith".
