I have been out for a very long time but was thinking about the inconsistency of education. It is probably worse now than before because of the home schooling.

Inconsistency may be a key issue, I don't know. When I was in, my kids went to family schools at pre school level, then I was shifted around and for a year and a half I put them in a public school but then I was again shifted from that place and there was no public school and we were supposed to teach from a correspondence course.

This course was taught on an inconsistent basis using materials from another child that were saved and the classes were not regular.

Then I came back the States and enrolled them at their grade levels after leaving the family. Though they were way ahead in some avenues like comprehension, there were holes in what was missing from a well rounded education.

FORTUNATELY since they were so young they were able to adjust without many problems as far as education goes. I can easily see how a few more missed years of real and consistent education would have been devastating.

With Maria changing the status of home members according to stats and with a big witnessing push on the horizon which is to include young children out selling the rag or something, if that account is accurate that goes to the inconsistency.

Also, because the members are dependent on "prophecies" and at any time the big ole beast, America, could be some place they could feel the need to skip out of so there is a real danger that the child could end up in some Poisonwood Bible situation.

Wishing you all the best on this one.
