You are right on my conditionals and speculations. I would call them serious though, yet speculation indeed. You reported on something, I read it and, seeing it through my own lenses and point of view, I commented on it. The many conditionals are precisely because they are not even my OPINION but only speculations. Opinions are more definite.

Like you, I don’t form opinion until curiosity is satisfied. It seems that my curiosity has been awakened and that your curiosity has not yet reached that point. I am presenting starting points to look into the matter, not definite truths of guilt. I wonder if the writer of the original article has already looked into this. Chances are she did and nothing came up. Do you know anything about it?

You recognize that there is a coincidence in that there is a course called The Family and a person who has ties with TF ends up teaching it. That coincidence suggests something to me but not to you, isn’t that remarkable? Do you know if Prendergast has the reputation of being some sort of family (not The Family) expert? If he is, wouldn’t you be concerned about the system that supports child abusers to become opinion brokers?

May be we don’t have the energies to pursue these issues, after all we all have our own life to carry, but the question are real and valid even if they don’t kindle your curiosity.
