There's a little more to this story than the news links about the incident with the LA city councilman.
Don posted a series of really disturbing, paranoid, and openly hostile things at MO about his fellow survivors over the past few months. I think he may eventually have been banned from posting at the site. I also suspect that certain threats he reportedly made may have prompted the site's owner to add a terms of use disclaimer for anyone who logs in at the site. Don has been in a steady downward spiral for several months and has pretty much cut himself off from the people who were closest to him and care the most about him.
I admire what Don has done to expose the cult and advocate for his sister. It's been distressing to watch him come unglued in the last few months.
