When I was 19, first semester vacations, I was on a 6 weeks work for food and shelter etc. and 1 week vacation trip to Israel in a Kibbuz.I think they raise the kids commonly - no solid information, rather faint memory - but I doubt, that they share like TF did...however you never know what happens "backstage"...secular Israel is very much like anywhere else in the west & I remember Israelis seeking sexual relationships with foreigners & vice versa in the Kibbuz.
Actually I had my first friendship there with an Israeli female soldier etc. I shall ask a friend of mine, who speaks fluent Hebrew and lived there for many month...rest remains also to "Google" & others of course
