It was a trigger, as I understand it

As I understand it, it was the effect of the triggering words "the youth" which ticked off some SGs years ago, which is what I specifically advised JWH against going on and on about if he starts posting on our boards again. It only took one sentence in passing for someone to jump on him about "nothing." But then his reply proved there there was in fact "something" to the accusation. Where I am coming from, I can fully understand why Youth-ish was triggered, and even I have a problem with the we/them, the "we wiser adults" vs. "youth who need our guidance" aspects as I explained. I completely agree with CB that SGs don't like to be told what they are to know/feel/think by the older generation who supposedly know better, and that in itself is a major trigger.
