Adapting for survival and security

Since TF members, last I heard, swear an allegiance to their king and queen, maria and peter, and since m&p were hardly innocent having continued the exploitation of children and at least Maria having molested her own and other children, I don't see how there can be change.
There is still a "one wife" approach which tears down normal familial bonding. This creates a more institutionalized environment and massive confusion. Heck, it's way more distressing than Woody Allen's family.
Then there is the memorizing and public performance drills as children aren't really given that much room to be children when they are being trained to be the lord's army or whatever.
I think the LJR is still in practice which is deviant and just plain really weird. Though people aren't forced to do it, I'd imagine they'd be treated like lesser members if not sold out enough to do it. I can't imagine how that screws with a young person's psyche.
Also, I fear for children that go to far flung third world countries dragged by their parents, who could become seriously ill, even die, because their parents are hoping "innocently" that jesus will cure them.
Also, I fear for youth who are unable to get the education of their choice and furthering it in legitimate institutions of higher learning.
It seems to me to be a case of ideals gone awry and having really dire consequences on development. I'm afraid what you see is the zeal and vibrant facade a "disciple" is always supposed to be wearing.
Can you be more specific about the "innocence" and 'innocent outlook on life' that you believe is found in TF?
Also, if you want to join and find out the hard way, you might be accepted and get to learn from your own mistakes rather than the easier route of learning from others.
Family doctrines seem to have adapted according to whatever is necessary to survive. A person can't be accused of child abuse (yet, though I think it would stand if a child were to run away and ask for help from a child protective org.)for guiding their children into a gradually sexualized fantasy of jesus porking them in their imaginary (if males) vaginas. Does that really sound "innocent" or idealistic to you?
