"I couldn't find the author of the gem below, but my day is brighter today and my Christmas happier when I consider from whence I came out. I pray our loved ones and those we left behind will be able to find their way out as well and enjoy the salvation of God through Jesus Christ."

Well...dear Skep you must be/are the author of the above Gem : ) ...wonderful wording...that's what counts publicly confessing ones personal faith in the salvaging power of Jesus Christ, our Lord...nothing else helps/matters in the end....and it's a very good prayer for the loved ones & I love to join you in.

You know...I might still have a daughter "in TFI"...out of wedlock...in whatever "in circle" that is after the reboot nowadays...I really need to focus on that...also other than prayer...for I do pray for her since long

The quotes are very fitting...they must be of TBITC...they were the best and most effective critics of TFI

After leaving TFI one of the first things I did, was studying up in books church-history...or getting inspiration from various men of faith...Hudson Taylor...the China-missionary was a huge inspiration for me...I devoured his biography...later I zeroed in on the charismatic movements...with more income I was also able to acquire better books...to get the wording...grammar... tenses in the Bible better...that's where huge mistakes of Berg stem from...as he was quite an ignoramus...the consequences were very bitter and sad for all of us ....TBITC the most.

Therefore to overcome Berg failure in thinking...one has to think...combine better than he did...he picked verses cafeteria/buffet-style...hardly any letter was giving a very, thorough, detailed Bible/word-study...let alone going into etymology etc....he was a drop out himself ...out of Bible-college...his desire to reach the lost sadly mingled with his lust for foreign...new flesh...just his carnality though a difficulty most men.. also women in same or related manner have to overcome...he just played it down, his own unfaithfulness.Instead of abiding in the limits of the Bible & asking for the Lord's help and mercy, he tried to outsmart the Word with is faulty interpretations...like who can look upon a woman and not lusting after her...his interpretation: the sermon on the mountain is not to be followed...but showing how impossible it is to keep the law....blah...blah

Of course it's not to say one should be so legalistic that one gets constantly sour and frustrated over ones frailty and incompleteness...for me that is part of the journey...HIS method to keep me humble and that the goals are very high...but to say impossible...do as you pls. is causing wreckage in ones life as a result and for a "leader"...Berg aspired to be...it means, wrecking the flock....well...in that he succeeded.

Point though is...like I said in so many posts...that the good was, we heard about the Lord...the good news...salvation...and accepted it by faith...plus a few plus points here and there makes about all the positiveness of TFI for me...for as I said recently...without being much understood...I rather want to say...I am fully responsible for joining and remaining...even if others had the fault of being false teachers and therewith laid upon themselves also a heavy burden for judgement. We FGAs taught all a lot of people wrong. So part of my staying on this site has a bit to do with trying to correct that a bit...

What I also considered helpful was to have done a good word seminar, in this case with William Lerrick...though being "charismatic"...he was the first whom the Lord used to confront me with my sins of fornication...that was a very healthy and sober experience...a fitting, scriptural tongue-lashing...at the end of one seminar I also got baptised...I felt that was necessary...having pondered much before about baptism

...for infant-baptism in the Lutheran church is hardly a submerging...for the question of the validity of infant baptism it is not the time and space here...I just "felt" also the need to start again....remorse and cleansing....as an outward sign...witness.

So William Lerrick was then in 2000 a better teacher to me as Berg ever was...though that is now 11 years ago and I have distanced myself for now pretty much from the "charismatic thinking":

Last not least...I copied here some international Christmas greetings , of countries/regions, where it is kind of evident...though seldom knowing it for sure...that that country/region had the "guts"...to maintain the good tradition of referring to Christ for that feast-day...good of them!!!!!!!

Again Merry Christmas:

I don't understand the fuss over the exact birthday either...fact is that one day our Lord was born and being the light of the world it kind of is the "right season"...keeping the northern hemisphere in mind...where anyway the majority of the world-wide population lives...plus there are a few other reasons...

I would like to ask any Christian here...if he would send a happy X-mas to any fellow brother or sister???? I never would, which just shows too, that it is a foul "compromise"
