The following is – of course – my very own personal take on this...a somewhat beaten topic. Writing this, it is not my intention to hurt anyone individual, but if I do so I wish to apologize.

The sexual landscape in TF was/is a grotesquely debased parody, one long travesty on real love and marriage. Berg was obviously deeply corrupted and perverted from the very beginning, so naturally he passed this on, wrapped up in new exciting garbs as cutting edge doctrine, supposedly biblically based, but which in fact is as old as any perversion you can think of.
As immature and gullible young people we could under the right conditions be manipulated into practically anything, really anything. TFI was – and still is – another experiment with people, but that does not mean that nothing good came from that, in fact, in spite of all that. History is full of examples of this.

The sexed up environment had a bearing on almost everything that took place within TF, a terrible influence, not least on the children, who bore the brunt of the damage. It had precious little to do with love, and almost everything to do with selfish lust, demonism and what may be even worse.

The tragedy of it all, imo, is the self deception we were under...thinking we were so great, so just, indeed the people, but all along we were literally tools in the hands of our handlers, doing their bidding to the detail.
In the world around us, which we supposedly were so much in opposition to, promiscuous sex was rampant, prostitution and sexual debauchery more or less secretly aided and abetted on every level. And what did we do in TF? The very same thing, and as time passed we also reaped the fruits of it.

Today this debauchery of society has taken on a whole new meaning, upgraded into another dimension, it has become mainstream and wholesale everywhere, even down to minors.

If you ask me, what was at the heart of, and what more than anything else brought TF down to it's sweeping and general low ethical and moral standards was it's sexual perversions, masquerading as Christian love. Most other liabilities is somehow a biproduct thereof.

For me it is a little bit hard to see how it is possible for exers to be in conflict with, let alone somewhat defend this practise.
But of course, no two people have had the same experiences with this sort of thing, and much water has since passed under the bridge, therefore it is also natural that we see this differently now, years later.
