He has made it abundantly clear in his speeches and writings that he made a decision for Christ as an adult while working in the Chicago community. Any other spin would be heretical. Once someone has made a decision for Christ (accepting Christ as their savior) the deal is done. Check Rom 8:1 Therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus...
