We both know they are not the same cults, and I never stated they were, because they aren't. But there were some similarities, and that is what I am looking for, without writing an encyclopedia.

Neither taught Revolutionary Suicide as doctrine, in fact, Jim Jones also spoke against it, but it was always there as an option, and in the Mo Letter you sent, as well as the quotes I made, they are openly speaking about dieing, death, and suicide the same as in the PT.

As I said, in fact we both implied, it is a slow conditioning process, a dehumanization, not a taught doctrine like on a classroom blackboard. When the leadership has the level of control over the members freedom they may use it as Jim Jones did.

Both the CoG and PT were very much concerned with this control, and removal of member freedoms.
